I just want to leave behind all the lies.
Why can't I just be the same in everyone's eyes?

I just want to escape into the light.
Why does it feel I'm the cause of all the fights?

I just want to stop the same process; hide and run.
Why can't this just all be over and done?

Am I supposed to feel this much shame?
Or am I fine, and they are to blame?

Maybe someday this will all just end.
